A previously recorded CMF can be further cropped as
follows:
[ ] 1. Read the CMF.
[ ] 2. Reduce the Crop Box.
[ ] 3. Record the CMF without setting In or Out
Points, or Loop. See §23.4.14 for information
on recording a CMF.
NOTE
A recorded cropped CMF cannot be
“uncropped.” Increasing the size of a
Crop Box adds an opaque black
border to the CMF. If unsure of the
final size of a CMF, be sure to record a
copy of the largest version you think
might be used.
