Subpalettes are used by Flash Font,
Advanced Font Create and/or Logo
Compose applications.
Flash Font allows gradated shading of character face,
edge, or both, which can be changed in Subpalette mode.
The Advanced Font Create option provides effects
such as
Bevel and Chisel, which depend on gra-
dated colors for their effects.
