press TAB. Scroll through the list a page at a
time by pressing
SHIFT PAGE + Î or Ï.

CNTL X or select Execute. The Delete
Directory window (Figure 19-15) is displayed.

Enter Y, to delete the directory. If CONFIRM is set to Y,
another popup window appears before each file in the
directory is deleted. To save any of the files in the direc-
tory, press any key other than
Y to skip over that file. To
abort a multi-file delete operation, press the
ESC key.
Default directories cannot be deleted; these include the
PROGRAM directory, and certain other master file direc-
tories.
Press
CNTL Q or select Quit to leave the DELETE win-
dow and return to the Disk Utilities main menu. Press
MODE SLCT to exit Disk Utilities.

METHOD 1: After using List to display files, press Ï to enter the list
and highlight a file to delete. Press
. An arrow appears
to the left of the filename to indicate it’s selected for dele-
tion. Press
CNTL X or select Execute to delete the file. If
CONFIRM is set to Y, a prompt appears before deletion
occurs.
METHOD 2: Enter the drive and directory the file is located in the
CURRENT DIR:
field, and the name/descriptor of the file
in the
DELETE NAMES: field. If CONFIRM is Y, enter a
Y to delete the file.
