This protection also applies to certain application pro-
grams and options; some software is licensed on a per-
unit basis, while other software may be licensed on a per-
installation basis. A “Subscript ID” is included for this
purpose. Refer to §3.8 for more information.
If you want to share software among several machines at
one location, or have any other questions regarding the
font software, contact CHYRON Customer Service
Department at (516) 845-2132.

The Fonts By Wire application (supplied with your sys-
tem) allows you immediate access to our extensive on-
line font library. Any of the 1500 fonts in this library can
be easily downloaded directly into your system using a
modem (not supplied). There is a charge for each font
you order.
A Fonts By Wire manual is included with your system.
Although a blank menu appears when you load the Fonts
By Wire program, you will not be able to download fonts
from CHYRON until after you have opened an account
and have installed a modem in the system.
Fonts By Wire also includes a bulletin board that gives
you up-to-date information on CHYRON and our prod-
ucts, and gives you the opportunity to send and receive
letters from various departments in our company.
To acquire your Fonts By Wire account number, return
the registration card supplied with your unit, or call
CHYRON Customer Service.
