• Crawls cannot be executed in Preview.
•Fades (
CNTL Z) cannot be executed in Preview.
• Image Tools cannot be used in Preview. Work with
Image Tools in the Foreground buffer (AIR), then
transfer the image to the Background (Preview) when
finished. If the image needs additional editing, trans-
fer it back to the Foreground to work on it.
• A Play List cannot be executed in Preview. How-
ever, Stills can be previewed in Preview. See §14.2.5
for more details.
• RGB Tools cannot be used in Preview. Work with
RGB Tools in the Foreground buffer (AIR), then
transfer the image to the Background (Preview) when
finished. If the image needs additional editing, trans-
fer it back to the Foreground.
• Rolls cannot be executed in Preview.
• Text editing using the mouse cannot be performed in
Preview.
• Transform Scripts cannot be executed in Preview.

IMAGESTOR! and IMAGESTOR! Recall Keyboard
users can use MAXINE! Preview to preview Stills in a
Play List MAXINE! before they are displayed on air. A
Play List cannot be executed in Preview.
IMAGESTOR! execution works as follows:
• Each time
READ NEXT is pressed, the next Still in
the Play List appears with a vertical wipe in Preview.
The Still that had been displayed in Preview, is trans-
ferred to AIR, using the effect specified in the Play
List.
