[ ] 4. Set Output Percentage levels for the
Foreground and Background.
[ ] 5. Press
Q, CNTL Q, ESC or click Quit to exit the
Read Effects main menu and return to the
Message Compose main menu.
If the system is equipped with Extended
Effects Frame Buffers (EEFB’s), it is
preferable not to press
ESC to exit the Read
Effects main menu. If you happen to press
ESC again immediately after exiting the menu,
the system can lock up, and it will be necessary
to reboot.
[ ] 6. Press
CLR, then enter an empty ID number
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 7. Press
CNTL RCD G.
NOTE
Output Percentage level settings
that were recorded in the Read
Effects main menu are preserved.
However, if the current settings are
different from the recorded settings,
the message will read back at the
current settings. When Read
execution is complete, the message
will switch to the recorded settings.
Mix Effects Output Percentage level
settings (§16.5.5) are not recorded.
It is possible to enter text and graphics into the buffer that
will hold the graphics, and to enter additional text into
the buffer that will hold the text:
[ ] 1. Enter the Message Compose main menu, then
press
CNTL 3 if the Single EEFB Text &
Graphics Message Function has not been
activated.
[ ] 2. Read text into the Foreground.
