[ ] 2. If on an iNFiNiT! system, select Mode: by
pressing the
SPACE BAR or clicking on the
Mode: field to toggle between Single User
System
and Dual User System, then press
.
If switching
Mode:, please see note at the end
of this procedure.
[ ] 3. If
Single or Dual status is not changed, a
switch can be made from
Local to Remote
mode or vice versa while Message Compose
operation is Suspended. Message Compose
operation can be resumed from where you left
off. Please refer to §5.2 or §6.11 for
information on Suspended mode.
Cursor down to the
User (1, 2) field. Select
User choice by pressing the SPACE BAR or
clicking on the
Mode: field to toggle between
Remote and Local, then press
.
If appropriate, repeat with the second
User
field.
NOTE
iNFiNiT! Users Only: If changing
from Single to Dual User mode, or
Dual to Single User mode, the
system must be rebooted at this
point for the changes to take effect.
This is regardless of whether or not
there is a switch from Local to
Remote or vice versa. After a
reboot, WiNFiNiT! is automatically
disconnected, making Steps 4 and 5
unnecessary. Additionally, if
Message Compose or another
program is in Suspended mode, all
current work is lost on reboot.
If there is no Single/Dual User
change, rebooting is unnecessary.
