Flash Font 13-26 Revision D
Font Position: When the Flash Font is converted, the
resulting Machine Font is automatically stored in the cur-
rent Machine Font directory and loaded into the specified
Font Key. To choose a Font Key:
• Highlight the
Font Position: field, then enter a number
from
1 to 16, or press a Font Key or ALT Font Key.
To load the newly created Machine Font into the current
Machine Font directory without loading it into a Font Key:
• Highlight the
Font Position: field, then enter 0.
At any time, use the Font Load Utility (
CNTL F - §6.6) to
load the new Machine Fonts.
Font ID: When the Flash Font is converted, it is stored
under the number entered in the
Font ID: field.
• Highlight the
Font ID: field. Press CLR, then enter a
number from
0000 to 9999.
The following function icons appear in the Flash Font
Convert window:
Change Dir (D): Changes the current Machine Font
directory. When you change the current Machine Font
Directory, then execute the conversion, the new Machine
Font is stored in the new directory.
• Press
D or select Change Dir. Enter the new direc-
tory name. Press
or
CNTL.
List (L): Displays all Machine Fonts in the current directory.
• Press
L or select List. Press
, CNTL or ESC to
exit.
Convert (C): Executes the conversion. When the Flash
Font is converted, it is mapped onto the selected Charac-
ter Placement Table, and the newly created Machine Font
is stored in the current directory under the ID number set
in the
Font ID: field. If a Font Position: is specified, the
Machine is loaded into that Font Key.
