The following table demonstrates the use of the CHNG
and
CNTL CHNG functions. Start with the cursor on
CHANNEL
1 A AIR.

CHANNEL B AIR is
unassigned. Buffer 2
is assigned to
PREVIEW.
For the following operations, assign Buffer 1 to CHANNEL A;
Buffer 3 to CHANNEL B; and Buffer 2 to PREVIEW.

1st key-
stroke
Changes active buffer
from 1 to 3
(
A AIR to B AIR).
3 B AIR
Leaves channel
assignments intact.
CHNG
2nd key-
stroke
Changes active buffer
from 3 to 2
(
B AIR to PRE-
VIEW
).
2 PREVIEW
Leaves channel
assignments intact.
CHNG
3rd key-
stroke
Changes active buffer
from 2 to 1 (PRE-
VIEW
to A AIR).

Leaves channel
assignments intact.
Pressing
CNTL CHNG allows you to change directly to any buffer. Enter
new frame buffer:
appears on the Prompt Line. Enter 1, 2 or 3 to designate
the new active frame buffer. If an invalid number is entered, you must re-enter
the command.
