Revision D 15-3 Advanced Read FX
You can design your own Read Effects transition, based
on the following parameters:
Effect Types
Each of the four Effect Types (§15.2) governs how an old
image leaves the screen and the new image enters the
screen:
• Either image (old and/or new) can move or remain sta-
tionary during the transition (
Wipe, Push, Hide, and
Revl (Reveal)).
• You can select which image will be displayed on top of
the other during the transition (
Hide and Revl).
The default setting is
Wipe.
Speed
Speed
(§15.3.1) specifies the duration of the transition.
The duration can range from
2 to 300 fields. The default
setting is
60.
60 fields = 1 second NTSC or PAL-M
50 fields = 1 second PAL
Reverse
Reverse
(§15.3.2) indicates the direction of the transition.
Can be
On or Off. The default setting is Off.
Ease
Ease
(§15.3.3) indicates whether or not the transition accel-
erates to set speed and/or decelerates from set speed, or
runs at a constant (set) speed.
Ease can be set to In, Out, In/Out, or None. The default
setting is
None.
