Revision D 15-45 Advanced Read FX
To execute Read Effects over a static image:
[ ] 1. While in the Read Effects main menu, press
CNTL F or select FG Effect.
[ ] 2. Set Output Percentage levels for both
Foreground and Background buffers (§15.8.3).
[ ] 3. Make the background buffer active (§15.8.2).
[ ] 4. Read a static message into the active buffer.
[ ] 5. Execute Read Effects as usual (§15.6),
selecting from the above Effect Types and
Transition Patterns. Note that the
DO key
(§15.6.3) cannot be used for execution.
The minimum
Speed allowable for FG Effect is 20 fields.
To exit FG Effect:
• Press
CNTL F or select FG Effect.
To erase the Background buffer while in FG Effect:
• Make the Background buffer active, then press
ERASE.
OR...
• Return to the Message Compose main menu, then
press
CNTL ALT ERASE.
This feature can also be accessed by selecting
Wipe1 or
Push1 as an Effect Type in the Multiple Effects main
menu. See §17.4.2 for details.
