To read a Single EEFB Text & Graphics Message:
[ ] 1. Enter the Message Compose main menu, then
press
CNTL 3 if the Single EEFB Text &
Graphics Message Function has not been
activated
Note: This step not required for
MAXINE! systems.
[ ] 2. Press CLR, then enter the message ID number
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 3. Press
READ.
NOTE
Output Percentage level settings
that were recorded in the Read
Effects main menu are preserved.
However, if the current settings are
different from the recorded settings,
the message will start Read
execution at the current settings.
When Read execution is complete,
the message will switch to the
recorded settings.
[ ] 4. Execute the Read Effect.
Dual Channel messages (§8.5.7) or two frame
buffer Text & Graphics messages (§8.5.15) can
be read while Single EEFB Text & Graphics
mode is activated. Such messages do not
contain Output Percentage level settings, and
will read back at the current settings.
NOTE
A Dual Channel message (§8.5.7) is
read in the same manner regardless
of whether or not Single EEFB Text
& Graphics mode is activated.
If a two buffer Text & Graphics
message (§8.5.15) is read while the
Single EEFB Text & Graphics mode
