CHANNEL, use the Bkg Select function (§16.11) to
display the video behind the images in CHANNEL A
or CHANNEL B on the Edit Monitor.
• If using three buffers, assign the DDR display buffer
to the PREVIEW CHANNEL. Use the
Bkg Select
function (§16.11) to display the video behind the
images in CHANNELS A and B on the Edit Monitor.
To turn off
Video Input:
• Erase the frame buffer in which it was activated.
In a system equipped with Extended Effects Frame Buff-
ers (EEFB’s), the
Video Input function dedicates the an
entire EEFB to the incoming video. However, an EEFB
can display both video from the VIM without Key, plus
Read Effects. As described above, the DDR video plus
images in the Foreground and/or Background buffers of
the EEFB will cover up the other buffer(s) if not set to
display behind the buffer(s).
[ ] 1. Use the Mix Settings window in the Mix
Control window (§16.7), or the Multiple
Effects main menu (§17.5) to assign the buffer
containing the DDR video to an output channel
as described above.
[ ] 2. Make the DDR display buffer active.
[ ] 3. Press
CNTL R or select Read FX to enter the
Read Effects main menu.
[ ] 4. Press
CNTL V or select Video Mix.
The video now displays behind the EEFB. The
Output Percentage of this video is always
100%.
To turn off
Video Mix:
[ ] 1. From the Message Compose main menu, make
the DDR display buffer active.
