Enter the disk/directory where the SCRIBE file resides
into the
SCRIBE DIR: field. To import SCRIBE files,
they must reside on 3-1/2" floppy disks which will be
read from drive
A/. The directory can be SCRIBE (for
text messages), MACHINE (for Machine Fonts), MAS-
TER (for logos), or one of your message directories cre-
ated in Message Compose.
Directory name depends on where you stored the
SCRIBE message.
• Press
CNTL L or select List to display SCRIBE
directories on the current disk.
Next, enter where you want the newly created iNFiNiT!
file to be placed in the
INFINIT/MAX/MAXINE DIR: field.
C/INFINIT,C/MAX or C/MAXINE is the hard disk's default
system directory. If the directory doesn't exist, it is auto-
matically created.
Leave the
CONFIRM: field at Y if you don’t want newly
created iNFiNiT! files to overwrite previous versions.
The prompt
OVERWRITE? Y/N appears if the iNFiNiT!
Family file has the same name as a file in the
INFINIT/
MAX/MAXINE DIR:
you've chosen. Leave the “*” in the
FILE NAMES: if all the files in the SCRIBE DIR: direc-
tory are to be translated.
To specify a file from the list:
