The order in which frame buffers are merged
depends upon the settings in the Mix menu.
The screen is erased, and the system performs
the following procedure to merge the buffers
into the current frame buffer:
• If a buffer is assigned to PREVIEW, it is
written to the current frame buffer.
• If a buffer is assigned to CHANNEL B, it
is written to the current frame buffer.
• If a buffer is assigned to CHANNEL A, it
is written to the current buffer.
This order of merge is defined by the following
rules:
• Any buffer assigned to CHANNEL A has a
higher priority and displays on top of the
one assigned to CHANNEL B.
• The CHANNEL B buffer has a higher pri-
ority than the buffer assigned to PRE-
VIEW.
• In Dual-User mode, the PREVIEW chan-
nel is ignored.
