Depending on the method (keyboard or mouse) used to
enter the Cut and Paste Control menu, you will be
prompted to make adjustments and execute the Paste
using either the keyboard or the mouse.
Mouse If you use the mouse to select Paste Box and access the
Cut and Paste Control window, the following is displayed
on the Prompt Line:
Drag box with mouse. Paste - left button. Exit - right
button.
Use the mouse to drag the box. Press the left mouse but-
ton to Paste. Press the right mouse button to exit.
• Without pressing either mouse button, use the mouse
to move the box to the desired position. At this
point, you cannot change the size of the box.
• Press the left mouse button to place the image at the
Cut Box location. Because the image remains in a
paste buffer, trails can be created by slightly offset-
ting numerous images.
• Press the right mouse button to fix the image and exit
from the Cut and Paste Control window.
Keyboard If you press P; or highlight Paste Box then press
to
access the Cut and Paste Control window, the following
appears on the Prompt Line
:
Arrows - Move box. Space - Paste. Q - Quit.
• Use the cursor keys to move the Cut Box. At this
point, you cannot change the size of the box.

Press the SPACE BAR to place the image at the Cut
Box location. Because the image remains in a paste
buffer, trails can be created by slightly offsetting
numerous images.

Press Q to fix the image and exit the Cut and
Paste Control window.
If you begin using the mouse after using the cursor keys,
the system automatically reverts to mouse prompting.
