Directory Features 8-10 Revision D
Press the SPACE BAR to toggle between Yes (Y) and
No (
N) in a field.
Enter numeric values on the Address Keypad.
Only one set of defaults can exist for each directory. The
default values that were saved last appear in the menu.
To exit and save any changes to the defaults, press
CNTL Q.
Recording Defaults appears briefly on the Prompt Line.
The Message Directory Utility menu then returns.
The defaults are as follows:
Super Shift Value: System Default - 0
Press CLR, then enter a new value on the Address
Keypad.
For example, if you enter
40, every time you Super Shift,
text or tabs move 40 scanlines vertically, or 40 pixels hor-
izontally.
This value overrides any value entered on
the Address Keypad while in Message Compose
.
If you leave the default set at
0, you can enter any Super
Shift value on the Address Keypad while in Message
Compose.
Palette: System Default - N
If set to Y, the current on-line palette for the message
directory is saved, and is recalled whenever the directory
becomes the current directory.
If set to
N, the custom palette is lost each time you exit
from Message Compose. The system default palette is
then used.
The message directory default for the palette is updated
in all frame buffers after loading Message Compose, and
after a Change Message Directory operation has been
performed.
