Background
3 standard [ ] 1. Press MIX to enter the Mix Control
window (§16.3). In the Mix Settings
window (§16.7), assign one buffer to
Channel A and the remaining buffer
to Channel B.
These two channels are then
dedicated to the Special Roll.
[ ] 2. Press
CNTL B.
This changes the Preview
assignment display to a background
assignment display (
Bkg Select -
§16.11).
[ ] 3. Assign the remaining buffer that will
contain the live image to the
background channel.
This mixes the background channel
with Channels A and B for output.
[ ] 4. In Message Compose, make the
Preview or Background channel
active.
[ ] 5. Press
CNTL I, then select Video
Input
(if it’s not already active).
[ ] 6. Press
Q.
[ ] 7. Execute Special Roll.
