When you see Crawl buffer ready - press any key to
start
, the Crawl is ready to execute.
The following table outlines the Crawl execution com-
mands. Either of the first two commands can start execu-
tion. The last four can be used during Crawl execution.
Table 9-7: Crawl Execution Commands

Press any alphanumeric key or
the SPACE BAR on the key-
board.
Starts the Crawl as programmed, or
at the default speed if there are no
Speed commands in the Crawl Con-
trol Buffer List.
Enter a new start speed using
the Address Keypad.
Starts the Crawl at a speed other than
the speed specified in the Crawl Con-
trol Buffer List or the default (
3). This
keystroke negates the
Timed Crawl
command.
Enter a new Crawl speed.
Changes speed of the Crawl at any
point during Crawl execution. This
keystroke negates the
Timed Crawl
command.
Press ALT Keypad number.
Eases to the new speed when you
enter a
Speed during execution.
Press Î or Ï. Changes speed by 1/10 units. This
keystroke negates the
Timed Crawl
command.
Press 0.
Pauses Crawl execution. To restart
Crawl, enter a speed using the
Address Keypad. The Crawl
resumes at this speed until it encoun-
ters a new
Speed command. This
keystroke negates the
Timed Crawl
command.
Press ESC.
Stops Crawl execution.
