Using one EEFB:
A single channel Roll may be mixed over a Full Page
message or RGB(A) graphic.

A single channel Roll may be mixed over an RGB(A)
graphic and a live video source.

A Crawl or Special Roll may be mixed over live video.

Full Page messages may be displayed over live video
or an RGB(A) graphic.

A single buffer Dissolve can be performed.
Read Effects may be mixed with live video.
A Wipe or Push can be executed over a static image
using one EEFB and
FG Effect (§15.8.7). The Out-
put Percentage levels of both the Foreground and
Background buffers of the EEFB can be independently
set to levels other than
0 and 100. This type of Read
Effect (
Wipe1 or Push1) can also be executed in
Multiple Effects
(§17.4.2).
A Clock or Timer can be displayed in the Foreground
buffer over an image in the Background buffer. See
§11.2.3 for details.
Using Intelligent Interface, serial data can be dis-
played in the Background buffer of an EEFB, while
other information is displayed in the Foreground
buffer.

Special Rolls normally use two
standard frame buffers. However, in a
