To use the mouse to adjust Hard Mask size, first, if neces-
sary, press the right mouse button to transfer the mouse
cursor from the Prompts Monitor to the Edit Monitor,
then:
• Move the mouse cursor to a border of the
Hard Mask Adjust box. Move the border
by holding down the left mouse button and
“dragging” the border to its new location.
To reset the Hard Mask Adjust box to directory
default size:
• Press
R or select Reset.
[ ] 3. If necessary, adjust the position of the Hard
Mask Adjust box by pressing
SHIFT CHAR +
Ì, Í, Î or Ï.
To move the Hard Mask Adjust box using the
mouse:
• Transfer the mouse cursor to the Edit Mon-
itor as described above, then move the
mouse cursor inside the perimeter of the
Hard Mask Adjust box. Move the box by
holding down the left mouse button and
“dragging” it to its new location
[ ] 4. Press
CNTL or Q, or select Quit to exit the
Hard Mask Adjust window and save changes.
To exit the Hard Mask Adjust window without
saving changes to the Hard Mask:
• Press
ESC.
[ ] 5. If necessary, adjust the Foreground and
Background Output Percentage levels
(§15.8.3).
Hard Mask setup is now complete.
