• To adjust the LEFT border, use the use the
cursor
ÌÍ keys.
If necessary, press the
SPACE BAR or select
SPACE to toggle back to TOP/RIGHT
adjustment.
As you adjust the Soft Mask, the
X (pixel) and
Y (scanline) information is updated.
To use the mouse to adjust Soft Mask size,
first, if necessary, press the right mouse button
to transfer the mouse cursor from the Prompts
Monitor to the Edit Monitor, then:
• Move the mouse cursor to a border of the
Soft Mask Adjust box. Move the border by
holding down the left mouse button and
“dragging” the border to its new location.
To reset the Soft Mask Adjust box to directory
default size:
• Press
R or select Reset.
[ ] 4. If necessary, adjust the position of the Soft
Mask Adjust box by pressing
SHIFT CHAR +
Ì, Í, Î or Ï.
To move the Soft Mask Adjust box using the
mouse:
• Transfer the mouse cursor to the Edit Mon-
itor as described above, then move the
mouse cursor inside the perimeter of the
Soft Mask Adjust box. Move the box by
holding down the left mouse button and
“dragging” it to its new location
[ ] 5. Press
CNTL or Q, or select Quit to exit the
Soft Mask Adjust window and save changes.
To exit the Soft Mask Adjust window without
saving changes to the Hard Mask:
• Press
ESC.
