Key Enable can be set in either menu for
use with Multiple Effects.
A
Special Roll can be executed in conjunction
with
Key Enable if the system is equipped with
at least two Extended Effects Frame Buffers
(EEFB’s).
Key Enable is available to the
Primary User in a three EEFB Dual User system.
CNTL B: Allows you to assign PREVIEW as a
source of background for CHANNELS A and/or
B. See §16.11 for more detailed information.
Setup in the Multiple Effects main menu is the
same as in the Mix Effects main menu.
Bkg
Select
(Background Select) can be set in either
menu for use with Multiple Effects.
A
Special Roll can be executed in conjunction

Bkg Select if the system is equipped with
three standard frame buffers or Extended Effects
Frame Buffers.
Bkg Select is available to the Primary User in a
two or three buffer Dual User system. The image
displayed using
Bkg Select comes from the
frame buffer controlled by the Secondary User.
This image cannot be altered by the Primary
User.
CNTL S: Superimposes a stationary mask, with
adjustable edge softness. The image inside the
Soft Mask comes from the buffer assigned to
CHANNEL A. The image outside the
Soft
Mask
comes from the buffer assigned to
CHANNEL B. See §16.12 for more detailed
information.
