Revision D 17-5 Multiple Effects
A Special Roll can be executed in conjunction
with
Soft Mask if the system is equipped with at
least two Extended Effects Frame Buffers.
Soft
Mask
is available to the Primary User in a three
EEFB Dual User system.
Note that in the Mix Effects menu,
Soft Mask is
activated by pressing
CNTL M (§16.8). In the
Multiple Effects menu, it is accessed by pressing
CNTL S. Otherwise, setup is the same as in the
Mix Effects menu.
Soft Mask can be set in
either menu for use with Multiple Effects.
CNTL R: Recalls Read Effects and Mix Effects
Presets recorded to a message in a directory.
Note that
Recall Pre is set up the same as in
Recall fx (§15.7.2) in the Read Effects window
and
Recall Mix (§16.17.2) in the Mix Effects
main menu. See §17.8 for information on use
with Multiple Effects.
CNTL M: Rows of text can be controlled
individually using the
Row Menu. Each of up to
24 rows of new text can independently overwrite
each old row from the bottom (
Up), top (Down),
Left, or Right. A row can also remain Fixed.
See §15.4 for more detailed information.
CNTL E: Resets all parameters in the Multiple
Effects main menu to the same settings as when
the menu was entered. See §17.9 for more
information.
CNTL T: If the system is equipped with the
Transform option, this displays the Transform
main menu (Figure 17-9). Transform allows you
to display animated Scripts, e.g., a spinning logo.
You can also create and edit Transform Scripts
from within this window. See the Transform
Option manual for more information.
