If the Machine Font that you are creating has
no edge, and no more options need to be set,
you can now return to Step 1 to enter
conversion information for an additional
Machine Font, or you can execute the
conversion (§18.8).
Fonts (including double the edge) cannot be
less than 10 scanlines high (6 scanlines for
version 3.5) or greater than 1000 scanlines
high (within font memory limits).
[ ] 6. In the
EDGE TYPE field, select an Edge Type.
[ ] 7. In the
EDGE DIR field, select an Edge
Direction.
[ ] 8. In the
EDGE SIZE field, enter an Edge Size in
scanlines from
1 to 90.
If you do not need to enter or re-enter the
Options window, you can now return to Step 1
to enter conversion information for an
additional Machine Font, or you can execute
the conversion (§18.8).
[ ] 9. In the
OPT. field, access the Options window
(§18.4.7) to set any or all of the following
fields:
MASTER FONT DRIVE: (§18.4.7.1), if
you have not already;
MACHINE FONT DIR:
(§18.4.7.2), if you have not already;
CHARACTER SET ID: (§18.4.7.3); X SCALE
FACTOR:
(§18.4.7.4); and SHARPNESS
LEVEL:
(§18.4.7.5).
[ ] 10. You may now return to Step 1 to enter
conversion information for an additional
Machine Font, or you may execute the
conversion (§18.8).
