As each character is converted from Master Font to
Machine Font, the Character Placement Table is con-
sulted for a key location. The resulting Machine Font
character is assigned to that key on the CHYRON key-
board. Most keys can be assigned four different charac-
ters, by using the following keystroke combinations:
•
Key alone
• SHIFT + Key
•ALT + Key
• SHIFT + ALT + Key
