[ ] 3. If there is a fourth digit in the Character ID
Number:
• After entering the first three digits as just
described, cursor past the slash. Then,
enter the fourth digit Character ID Number
using the Address Keypad.
The partial Character Placement Table below and Figure
18-16 illustrate how
CHR.ID and ACCENT assignments
affect the resulting Machine Font.

When the above Character ID’s and Accent ID’s are
entered, the following Machine Font characters result:
• When Key 91 (lower case to right of
P) is pressed,
the character
ñ results.
• When Key 92 (lower case to right of
;) is pressed, the
character
ö results.
• When Key 93 (next to 91) is pressed, the character
é
results.
• When the letter
a, then Key 96 (next to 92) are
pressed, the character
ä results.
