• The 10-bank switch sets the Arc Net Host ID. The first 8
switches must exactly match the system’s ID setting. On
iNFiNiT! systems, the Host ID is set via DIP switch SW1
on the Transcoder board. On MAX!> systems, the Host
ID is set via DIP switch S1, located on the CPU board.
These switch locations are shown in Figure 2-21 on page
2-43.
NOTE
The keyboard Host ID Setting matches the
ArcNet ID of the system when shipped.
You need only change this setting when
adding or replacing keyboards, or when
servicing the Transcoder (iNFiNiT!) or
CPU (MAX!>)
