iNFiNiT! Family Operation Manual
Revision D 3-37 Start-Up
NO is safely used only when one operator is control-
ling both the main keyboard and IMAGESTOR! Recall
Keyboard!
Press the SPACE BAR or SHIFT CHAR + ÎÏÌÍ to
toggle between
NO and YES. The default is NO.
Frame If Priority: is set to YES, the selected frame buffer(s) are
Buffers solely dedicated to use by the IMAGESTOR! Recall Key-
board. If you attempt to assign a selected buffer while in
the Mix Settings window of the Mix Effects (§16.7) or the
Multiple Effects (§17.5) main menus,
FRAME BUFFER
NOT AVAILABLE
appears on the Prompt Line. This
ensures that an operator running Message Compose does
not accidently interfere with IMAGESTOR! operation and
vice versa.
If
Priority: is set to NO, the selected frame buffer(s) can
be also be used (shared) by Message Compose. Use the
key or the
SPACE BAR to toggle a buffer selection
On and Off. The default for all buffers is Off.
A maximum of two frame buffers can be selected. If all
buffers on a system are dedicated to the Recall Keyboard,
and
Priority: is set to YES, Message Compose cannot be
loaded. The message
FRAME BUFFER DRIVER NOT
PRESENT
is displayed, indicating that there are no buff-

by Message Compose, set
Priority: to NO, but be cau-
tious about Message Compose interfering with Recall
Keyboard operation.
Outputs If Priority: is set to YES, the selected output(s) are solely
dedicated to use by the IMAGESTOR! Recall Keyboard.
For example, if Output 3 has been selected (the Third
Channel Output), and you attempt to use this output
while in the Mix Settings window of the Mix Effects
(§16.7) or the Multiple Effects (§17.5) main menus,
THIRD CHANNEL OUTPUT IN USE appears on the
Prompt Line. There is no such warning when Outputs
1
or
2 are dedicated with Priority: set to YES, and an
attempt is made to assign frame buffers to those outputs
