Flash Font 13-8 Revision D
In this tutorial, a 50-scanline font with no edge will be
converted into an 80-scanline, offset edge font. Review
these basics for navigating the Flash Font menus:
Size:
Press F, TAB or SHIFT + TAB to move to the Font Size:
field. This field initially displays 50, which is the scanline size
of the letter the Edit Monitor cursor is “parked” on. Enter
80,
then press
; or click and hold the mouse on the
Size: up
arrow until the
Size: field displays 80.
As you change the size, watch the selected character on the
Edit Monitor (Figure 13-3) change in appearance.

Italic:
Press I, TAB or SHIFT + TAB to move to the Italic: field.
Enter 1 on the Address Keypad, then press SHIFT CHAR +
Í or Ì to set a positive or negative italic angle. Italics may
be entered in the range of
-20 to +20 degrees. As you
change the italic angle, the character on the Edit Monitor
reflects these changes. You may also click on the arrows
using the mouse!
