Note that if there is no password already set, the cursor
moves from the
Chng Pswd icon to the Enabled box.
Set the password using the set password procedure previ-
ously described.
[ ] 2. Enter the current password in the
Current
Password:
field.
[ ] 3. Enter a new password of no more than eight
alphanumeric characters in the
New
Password:
field, then press

.
[ ] 4. Re-enter the same new password in the
Confirm Password: field, then press

twice
to execute. The system returns to the Disk
Utilities Password Protection window. The
ENABLED box remains highlighted.
[ ] 5. Press
Q or select Quit to return to the Disk
Utilities main menu.
To disable the password:
[ ] 1. From within the Disk Utilities Password
Protection window (Figure 19-3), select the
Enable box. The Disable Password Protection
window (Figure 19-6) is displayed.
