Configuring Flow Mirroring on ACX5000 Series Routers
In the flow mirroring mode, input parameters for mirroring are specified through a firewall
filter. You need to include the port-mirroring CLI statement at the [edit forwarding-options]
hierarchy level. The ACX5000 line of routers supports only family ethernet-switching and
family inet configurations.
The following are the various methods to configure flow mirroring on ACX5000 line of
routers:

2 Logical Interface
You can configure flow mirroring on the ACX5000 line of routers by configuring the family
as ethernet-switching and specifying the output as a Layer 2 logical interface as shown
in the following configuration:
1. Configure the output as logical interface.
[edit forwarding-options]
port-mirroring {
family ethernet-switching {
output {
interface logical-interface-name;
}
}

2. Configure the firewall filter and specify the action as mirror.
