Description Configure the path computation element (PCE) type:
• active—Uses LSP state information learned from PCCs to optimize path computations,
and actively updates LSP parameters in those PCCs that delegated control over their
LSPs to the PCE.
• stateful—Uses LSP state information learned from PCCs to optimize path computations,
but does not actively update the LSP state. A PCC maintains synchronization with the
PCE.
