Syntax partition partition-number interface-type type timeslots timeslots;
partition partition-number timeslots timeslots interface-type type;

Release Information Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.3 for ACX Series Routers.
Description Configure the channelized interface (ct) partition. The partition number is correlated with
the channel number. Partition and channel numbering on channelized interfaces begins
with :1, not :0.
Default If you omit this statement, the channelized PIC is not partitioned, and no data channels
are configured.
Options partition-number—Sublevel interface partition index.
Range:
• 1 through 30 on a channelized E1 interface.
• 1 through 24 on a channelized T1 interface.
• 0 through 31 (with 0 reserved for framing) for NxDS0 interfaces on channelized E1 or
T1 interfaces.
