Syntax aggregate global
Hierarchy Level [edit firewall policer policer-name if-exceeding]
Release Information Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.3X54 for ACX Series Routers.
Description Define an aggregate policer as a single parent policer across all the child policer instances
in the system. A single instance of the policer is created system-wide.
You must then link or associate the child policers to the parent or aggregate policer by
specifying at each child policer by using the aggregate-policing aggregate-policer-name
statement at the [edit firewall policer policer-name if-exceeding] hierarchy level. This step
is additional, from the procedure to create a single-level policer, to configure a hierarchical
policer.
Options global—Indicates that the aggregate policer is a parent and applicable globally throughout
the system.
