hold-interval (Chassis Synchronization)
Syntax hold-interval {
configuration-change seconds;
restart seconds;
switchover seconds;
}
Hierarchy Level [edit chassis synchronization ]
Release Information Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.2 for ACX Series Routers.
Description Specify the chassis synchronization time interval to wait before selecting the new clock
source.
Default The default switchover is 30 seconds. Cold reboot is 120 seconds.
Options configuration-change—The amount of time—from 15 to 60 seconds, that the clock
selection algorithm waits after a change in the configuration.
restart—The amount of time—from 60 to 180 seconds, that the clock selection algorithm
waits after a reboot.
switchover—The amount of time after clock recovery—30 to 60 seconds, before there is
a switchover to another clock.
