Hierarchy Level [edit chassis fpc slot-number pic number inline-services]
Release Information Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.3X51–D20 for ACX Series routers.
Description Enable the capability to recover the service plane in situations in which the
field-programmable gate array (FPGA) enters into a state in which the state machine
becomes locked and a method to recover the FPGA is not possible. The processing of
services on ACX Series routers is performed in the FPGA, which includes NAT and IPsec
applications. In scenarios in which the routers are remotely located, and the service plane
or FPGA becomes locked, you need to reset the FPGA or the service plane to recover it
from the locked state.
Options disable—Disable the service plane recovery capability.
downtime-gap-seconds—Interval, in seconds, between successive downtime events
for the recovery mechanism to be enabled.
Range: 30 through 86,400 seconds
downtime-events—Number of downtime events after which the recovery mechanism
is disabled.
Range: 1 through 100
