Resolving next hop.Resolve (rslv)
Regular multicast next hop.Routed multicast (mcrt)
A specific node or set of nodes to which the routing device
forwards packets that match the route prefix.
To qualify as a next-hop type router, the route must meet
the following criteria:
• Must not be a direct or local subnet for the routing
device.
• Must have a next hop that is directly connected to the
routing device.
Router
Routing table next hop.Table
Unicast.Unicast (ucst)
List of unicast next hops. A packet sent to this next hop
goes to any next hop in the list.
Unilist (ulst)
Table 218 on page 3008 describes all possible values for the State output field. A route can
be in more than one state (for example, <Active NoReadvrt Int Ext>).
