6 MLD ROBUSTNESS-VARIABLE
ipv6 mld robustness-variable
Overview Use this command to change the robustness variable value on an interface.
Use the no variant of this command to return to the default on an interface.
Syntax
ipv6 mld robustness-variable <value>
no ipv6 mld robustness-variable
Default The default robustness variable value is 2.
Mode Interface Configuration for a specified VLAN interface or a range of VLAN
interfaces.
Usage This command applies to interfaces configured for MLD Layer-3 multicast
protocols.
Example
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# ipv6 forwarding
awplus(config)# ipv6 multicast-routing
awplus(config)# interface vlan2
awplus(config-if)# ipv6 enable
awplus(config-if)# ipv6 mld robustness-variable 3
Parameter Description
<value> Valid values are from 1 to 7.
