ADDRESS-TABLE AGEING-TIME
mac address-table ageing-time
Overview Use this command to specify an ageing-out time for a learned MAC address. The
learned MAC address will persist for at least the specified time.
The no variant of this command will reset the ageing-out time back to the default
of 300 seconds (5 minutes).
Syntax
mac address-table ageing-time <ageing-timer> none
no mac address-table ageing-time
Default The default ageing time is 300 seconds.
Mode Global Configuration
Examples The following commands specify various ageing timeouts on the device:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# mac address-table ageing-time 1000
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# mac address-table ageing-time none
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# no mac address-table ageing-time
Parameter Description
<ageing-timer> <10-1000000> The number of seconds of persistence.
none Disable learned MAC address timeout.
