Overview Use this command to enable suppression of routing updates on an interface.
Use the no variant of this command to disable this function.
Syntax
passive-interface <interface>
no passive-interface <interface>
Default Disabled

Examples To enable suppression of routing updates, use the following commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# router ipv6 rip
awplus(config-router)# passive-interface vlan2
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# router ipv6 rip
awplus(config-router)# no passive-interface vlan2
Parameter Description
<interface> The interface. For instance: vlan2.
