Overview
The C4/c CMTS Per-Subscriber Throughput feature provides the user with the capability to display the per-subscriber
throughput Quality of Service (QOS) parameters associated with a Cable Modem (CM).
Throughput
Throughput for CM subscribers is based on the following factors:
 Number of users
 Access speed during times of high usage
 Type of services being accessed
 Cache and proxy server usage
 MAC layer efficiency
 Noise and errors on the cable plant
