configure crypto key generate

Purpose

Generate the host private/public key pair for the SSH server.

Command Syntax

configure crypto key generate <dsa>

Information

Note: Configure the ARRIS hostname and domain name before using this command (configure hostname and configure ip dns

domain-name). The string "hostname@domain.name" will be embedded as a comment in the generated key pair(s).

Parameters

<dsa>

Specifies DSA format for the key pair for the SSH2 server.
