configure interface cable-mac * ip ospf graceful-restart-timeout

Purpose

Sets the maximum grace period the C4c CMTS will act as a helper for a router.

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip ospf graceful-restart-timeout <timeout>

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip ospf graceful-restart-timeout <[timeout>] no

Information

Note: The graceful-restart timeout can not be set to a value less than the current dead-interval.

To disable the graceful-restart timeout, use the no option.

Parameters

<mac[.s]>

The MAC identifier and optional sub interface.

The timeout in seconds. Valid range is 0-1800 seconds; default is 40.
