configure interface cable-mac * cable source-verify

Purpose

Enables source verification for all packets for the specified interface.

Default Access Level

Command Syntax

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> cable source-verify [dhcp [authoritative]]

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> cable source-verify [dhcp [authoritative]] no

Supplemental

Information

To disable source verification on the specified interface, use the no option.

Parameters

<mac[.s]>

The MAC identifier and optional sub interface.

[dhcp]

Enables source verification via DHCP lease query

[authoritative]

Enables authoritative DHCP lease query
