configure ip domain-name
Purpose
Defines a default domain name that can be used to complete unqualified host names (names without a dotted-decimal domain
name).

configure ip domain-name <name>
configure ip domain-name no
Supplemental
Information
To disable use of the DNS, use the no option.
Parameters
<name>
Domain name for this C4 CMTS. Do not include the initial period that separates an unqualified name from the domain name.
