configure slot * shutdown

Purpose

Shuts down a provisioned linecard in the slot

Default Access Level

Command Syntax

configure slot <slot> shutdown

configure slot <slot> shutdown no

Supplemental

Information

To activate or restore the linecard, use the no option.

Parameters

<slot>

The chassis slot in which the targeted card resides. Valid range for the C4 CMTS is 0-20; valid range for the C4c CMTS is 10-15, 17,

and 19.
