Supplemental
Information
This command can be used to create up to sixteen class of service profiles for 1.0 modems. Different values can be assigned to these
parameters for each of the sixteen different profiles. Different profiles can be assigned to the 1.0 CMs by means of their TFTP config
files.
If users leave out the class-id from the command, then that parameter is redefined for all sixteen profiles. To redefine the upstream
maximum traffic burst for all the profiles: use configure cos-mapping up-max-traffic-burst 96000
Defining DOCSIS 1.1 Parameters for 1.0 Modems Of all the parameters defined in the table below, DOCSIS 1.0 modems support
only the last, COS Profile ID. The following default values are assigned to the DOCSIS-1.1-specific parameters for all modems that
register in 1.0 mode:
upstream max traffic burst 3044
downstream max traffic burst 96000
downstream minimum reserved rate 0
upstream minimum reserved packet 0
downstream minimum reserved packet 0
upstream TOS AND mask 0xff
upstream TOS OR mask 0
downstream max latency 0
