Purpose

Suppresses routing updates on the specified interface.

configure router ospf [vrf <name>] passive-interface tengigabitethernet <slot/port>

To begin routing updates on the specified interface, use the no option.

Parameters

[vrf <name>]

Name of the assigned VRF.

RCM slot number/gigabitEthernet port number.

Valid range for the C4 CMTS is <17-18>/<10>

Valid range for the C4c CMTS is <17>/<10>
