configure router ospf * area

Purpose

Creates an OSPF area.

Default Access Level

Command Syntax

configure router ospf [vrf <name>] area <area-id>

configure router ospf [vrf <name>] area <area-id> no

Supplemental

Information

To delete an OSPF area, use the no option.

Parameters

[vrf <name>]

Name of the assigned VRF.

<area-id>

Identifier for the stub or NSSA area. The identifier can be specified as either an IP address or decimal value.
